Pearson Edexcel · Association Partnerships

For every Edexcel school in your network.
Current examiners. Specification-specific. Outside lesson time.

EMI provides examiner-informed peer-learning workshops for Pearson Edexcel schools across the UK, Middle East, and Southern Africa — at IGCSE, GCSE, AS-Level, and A-Level. We work alongside classroom teaching, not instead of it. The first conversation costs nothing.

Why associations work with EMI

A resource partner, not a vendor.

We do not ask associations to promote a commercial product to their members. We ask whether EMI's examiner-informed content can be a useful resource for the schools you already serve.

Edexcel examiner-informed content

Our facilitators are current or former Pearson Edexcel examiners. They know precisely which mark-scheme decisions cost students marks most often in each paper series — and they teach to that.

IGCSE, GCSE, AS and A-Level coverage

Edexcel coverage spans all four qualification levels. International GCSE (4MA1, 4PM1, 1PH0), GCSE (1MA1), and A-Level (9MA0, 9FM0, 9PH0) — all paper-mapped, all board-specific.

UK and international school experience

Edexcel is the most widely used international board in UK independent schools and has a strong presence across the Middle East. Our facilitators reflect that dual UK and international experience.

No timetable disruption

All workshops run outside lesson time. Before school, after school, or at weekends. Zero impact on timetabling or curriculum delivery for member schools.

Coverage

Your specification. Your board. Every time.

Every workshop is paper-mapped to a specific board, subject, and qualification level. Students from different boards are never in the same session.

What we offer your association

For the association. For the member schools. For the students.

Association-level pilot, zero cost

Two or three member schools receive the full EMI 3-day trial simultaneously. No cost to the association, the schools, or the students. Outcomes reported back to your executive.

UK and international facilitator pool

Our Edexcel facilitators include current and former UK-based examiners with direct experience of how Edexcel marking standards are applied — both in the UK and across international centres.

Cross-qualification support

Edexcel schools often run both IGCSE and A-Level. EMI supports the full student journey — from IGCSE Mathematics to A-Level Further Mathematics — within a single association relationship.

Outcome reporting

After any pilot, EMI provides the association executive with an honest aggregate assessment — not a promotional document. Your executive decides whether to continue.

Safeguarding-first engagement

Enhanced DBS clearance for all facilitators. Named DSL. Published policies. Full compliance documentation shared with schools before any session begins.

The Pilot Model

Start with two or three schools.
Report outcomes back to your executive.

We do not ask associations to endorse an untested programme. Two or three member schools trial EMI simultaneously — at no cost to anyone. The outcomes are reported directly to your executive. If the pilot does not serve your schools, we would rather know. Any broader arrangement is discussed after the evidence.

01
Association introduces EMI to two or three member schools
No commercial pressure on member schools. EMI is offered as a complimentary pilot resource, not a product to be sold.
02
Free 3-day workshop trial per school
Three 60-minute Masterclasss per cohort, up to 15 students. No cost to the school or to students at any stage.
03
Outcomes reported back to the association
EMI provides an aggregate outcome report to the association executive after the pilot — not a sales deck, an honest assessment.
04
Association decides whether to continue
No commitment required beyond the pilot. If it isn't right for your member schools, we would rather know.
Safeguarding & Compliance

First, not last.

We understand that safeguarding is not a checkbox for school associations — it is the precondition for any meaningful partnership. Every element of EMI's safeguarding framework is published and auditable.

Enhanced DBS

Every facilitator is Enhanced DBS cleared before any student contact. No exceptions. Documentation available to partner schools on request.

Designated Safeguarding Lead

EMI has a named DSL available to schools and parents throughout any engagement. Contact details provided to partner schools before the first session.

Published Policies

Safeguarding Policy, Child Protection Policy, and Online Conduct Policy are published in full. Read our policies →

Online Session Protocols

All workshops follow published online conduct protocols. Recording consent, session monitoring, and escalation procedures are documented and shared with schools in advance.
