Choose Your Board

Mathematics, by board.
Three grading scales, one method.

Your school will have entered your child for one exam board. Each board grades differently — Cambridge uses A*–G, Edexcel uses 9–1, and OxfordAQA uses a mixed scale depending on tier. Choose the matching page below for the right paper structure, grade boundaries, and command-word guidance.

Beyond Standard Maths

For students already
strong at IGCSE Maths.

Two distinct, board-specific qualifications — not interchangeable, and not simply harder versions of standard IGCSE Maths. Edexcel calls theirs Further Pure Mathematics; Cambridge calls theirs Additional Mathematics. We use each board's own name.

Choose Your Board

Physics, by board.
Single tier, grades 9–1.

OxfordAQA International GCSE Physics, examined and graded on its own single-tier scale.

The Experience
Live. Rigorous.
examiner-led.

Not pre-recorded video. Not passive content. Every workshop is a 60-minute, past-paper-mapped session led by an expert facilitator who knows your examiner's marking philosophy — followed by expert moderation in our Discord community 7 days a week. Questions posted overnight answered by 9am the following morning.

Time Phase What happens
10 min 🔬 Anatomy Deconstruct the examination question to first principles. The examiner's patterns identified from the official examiner report. Where do students characteristically lose marks on this specific paper — and precisely why? Command words dissected. Mark scheme philosophy explained.
15 min ⚙️ Drill Live solution, step-by-step. Every decision narrated. Common errors surfaced and corrected in real time. Examiner mark scheme revealed at each stage — not at the end. Mapped directly to past-paper questions from your specific board.
25 min ✅ Close You solve. We mark. Exam-equivalent pressure. Peer comparison of approaches — this is the peer learning advantage in action. Students see multiple valid methods for the same question. Facilitator identifies which approaches examiners reward and which they penalise.
10 min 💬 Open Forum Your questions from the Discord Academic Community — the highest-voted problems from enrolled students answered live. Nothing prepared. The session ends when the most pressing question is resolved, not when the clock runs out.

We do not lecture. We facilitate transformation.

The Evidence

Why small-group workshops
outperform 1-1 tutoring.

Research and experience consistently show that students learn more effectively when they engage with multiple problem-solving approaches, discuss ideas with peers, recognise common errors, and practise under structured examination conditions.

Exam Mastery International workshops combine expert facilitation, examiner insight, peer learning, and deliberate exam practice to create a richer learning experience than traditional 1-1 tutoring alone.

Peer Learning Advantage

Learn with students
who share your ambition.

One tutor teaches one approach. Fifteen high-performing students bring fifteen.

When you see how a peer solves a problem you couldn't, something changes. Not just your answer — your thinking. Research consistently shows that students benefit from discussing methods, comparing approaches and solving problems collaboratively. Our workshops combine expert facilitation with the advantages of structured peer learning.

The Protégé Effect

When students explain methods to peers, retention increases significantly. Teaching is learning at depth. In our Close phase, you are not just solving — you are articulating your method under peer scrutiny.

Error Recognition at the Right Level

Peers working at the same cognitive level identify mistakes that expert tutors — operating at a higher level — sometimes explain past. In a cohort attempting the same question, errors surface from multiple angles simultaneously.

Strategic Diversity

Seeing multiple valid approaches to a single examination question builds the metacognitive flexibility that top grades require. A student who has seen several approaches — and understands why the examiner rewards specific ones — is resilient.

Collective Accountability

Social commitment to a cohort is stronger than commitment to a weekly tutor appointment. Attendance, preparation, and effort all rise within a peer group working toward the same examination.

Why The Method Works

Built on research,
not assumption.

Peer learning's advantages over solitary or 1-1 instruction are well established in educational psychology research — students who discuss methods, compare approaches, and explain their reasoning to peers retain more and perform better under exam conditions than those who don't. Our workshop structure is built directly on this evidence, combined with examiner-informed exam technique specific to your board and paper.

The Facilitators

A rigorous standard,
not a job posting.

Every IGCSE facilitator goes through the same five-stage process: Selection, Training, Observation, Student Feedback, and Continuous Review. All facilitators are Enhanced DBS-cleared before they ever lead a Masterclass. This is the same standard applied across every level we teach.

1. Selection

Candidates are screened for subject mastery and the ability to teach exam technique, not just content.

2. Training

Every facilitator is trained on the EMI workshop method — Anatomy, Drill, Close, Open Forum — before leading a live Masterclass.

3. Observation

New facilitators are observed in live Masterclasss before working independently with a cohort.

4. Student Feedback

Every Masterclass is reviewed against student feedback, feeding directly into facilitator development.

5. Continuous Review

Facilitator performance is tracked over time, not assessed once and left unchecked.

DBS & Safeguarding

Every facilitator holds an Enhanced DBS check before leading any session involving students under 18.

Questions

Frequently asked.
Honestly answered.

If your question is not answered here, WhatsApp us directly. We will respond within the hour during working hours.

Is the free trial really free?
Completely. One full 60-minute workshop. No payment details required. No card details stored. No conversion pressure after the Masterclass. You decide whether to continue.
Why do Cambridge, Edexcel, and OxfordAQA grade differently?
Cambridge CAIE uses an A*–G scale, Edexcel uses 9–1, and OxfordAQA uses a mixed scale depending on tier. These are genuinely different systems, not just different labels on the same grades. Our workshops are board-specific so your child is taught to the exact paper structure and grading scale their school uses.
Which plan should I choose?
Most students preparing for IGCSE examinations choose the Mastery plan. Eight workshops per month provides complete coverage of the paper series. If you are testing one specific paper, start with a single session at £39. WhatsApp us and we will advise based on your examination timetable.
How many students are in each cohort?
Most workshops run with 10-13 students. Our absolute cap is 15 students. This is a principle we will not compromise under any commercial pressure.
Which exam boards do you cover?
Cambridge CAIE (0580), Edexcel Mathematics A (4MA1), and OxfordAQA (9260) for IGCSE Mathematics. Edexcel Further Pure Mathematics (4PM1) and Cambridge Additional Mathematics (0606) for students working beyond standard level. OxfordAQA (9203) for IGCSE Physics. Each board and paper is taught by facilitators trained specifically on that specification.
What if my child misses a live workshop?
Every workshop is recorded and available immediately after the Masterclass ends. There is no penalty for missing a live Masterclass.
How do I pay, from outside the UK?
Secure PayPal checkout, which works internationally. You can pay via your PayPal balance, bank account, or any major credit or debit card through PayPal. Your card details are never stored on our systems.
How do I cancel?
Cancel with one click through your PayPal subscription management. No emails required. No forms. You retain access until the end of your current billing period. If you cancel within 7 days of subscribing, you receive a full refund.
