What is the difference between a Single Session and Standard monthly?▼
A Single Session is a one-time payment of £39 for one 60-minute Mastery Pod. There is no subscription created and no further charge. Standard monthly gives you 4 sessions per month at £119, invoiced monthly with no long-term contract. Both give you the same examiner, the same pod size, the same recording and Discord access.
How many students are in each Mastery Pod?▼
Every Mastery Pod has a strict maximum of 6 students. This is a principle we will not compromise under any commercial pressure. A pod that runs with 4 students still runs — your child receives more examiner attention, not less.
Who leads the Mastery Pod?▼
Every pod is led by an former exam board examiner — the person who marks the actual papers for Cambridge CAIE, Edexcel or AQA. They bring mark-scheme knowledge that no teacher or tutor who has not marked can replicate.
Which exam boards do you cover?▼
Cambridge CAIE, Edexcel and AQA only. We do not currently cover OCR or WJEC/Eduqas. Each pod is matched to the student's exact board and specification. Board-specific subjects (English Literature, History) run in separate pods per board to ensure set text and topic alignment.
How does invoicing work?▼
Single Session: you receive a one-time invoice on enrolment. Standard monthly: you receive a monthly invoice on the same date each month. Payment is by bank transfer. There is no PayPal, no card stored on file, and no auto-renewal without a new invoice.
How do I cancel a monthly enrolment?▼
Email [email protected] with 7 days written notice. No penalty. No questions asked. Your access continues until the end of the paid month. See our full Cancellation Policy.
What is Discord and why is it included?▼
Discord is a free communication platform. EMI's Discord community is expert-moderated across all subjects and boards. Students can ask questions between sessions, access past paper resources, and support each other — available 24/7. Single Session students receive 1 week of access; Standard monthly students have access for the duration of their enrolment.
Are prices the same for UAE and GCC students?▼
GCC students are invoiced in AED at a regional rate. The AED equivalent is displayed automatically when you visit from a GCC IP address. Contact us directly for your AED equivalent if it is not showing correctly.
Is there a sibling or multi-subject discount?▼
Yes. Enrol a second sibling or a second subject and receive 10% off the lower-priced enrolment. Contact us after your first enrolment to apply the discount.
